選擇一方
Halloween: The Game 是非對稱恐怖遊戲。一名玩家可扮演 Michael Myers，最多四名玩家可在多人模式合作成為 Haddonfield 英雄；Steam 也描述了以 Michael Myers 視角展開的單人劇情。
兩方的目標
英雄要協助居民、使用日常物品與武器、通知當局並爭取逃離時間。Michael 則利用陰影、潛行與能力跟蹤居民，同時避免協調一致的反擊。這是有 NPC 和玩家能力參與的動態沙盒，沒有保證每局適用的固定路線。
