Use patch notes as the source of record
Player reports can help identify a problem, but IllFonic's published patch notes are the best source for whether a fix has shipped. The official Patch 1.0.1 notes cover cross-play party behavior, NPC pathing, challenge and achievement tracking, maps, civilians, and Michael Myers fixes.

The notes say cross-play party members should follow their leader into a matchmade lobby. They also list fixes for several map interactions, hiding-spot collisions, achievement tracking, and specific Killer visual or ability issues. A listed fix is not a guarantee that every player will never see a related symptom again.
Reporting a current problem
Check the newest official news post and the Steam Community Hub before treating an old launch report as current. Include platform, game version, match type, and reproducible steps when contacting the developer or platform support.
